About Us

Sycamore Shooting Ground is just 20 minutes from Sheffield City Centre on Bolsterstone Rd, Sheffield, S6 6LJ and is operated by a friendly team.

Clay Shooting

We shoot every Sunday through the year and we also do a Wednesday evening shoot starting at 5pm between late April and the end of September.  We offer 50 bird Sporting,  DTL and will shortly be offering 30 bird Compact shooting. We are also considering a regular Saturday shoot next year. We always have cartridges available for sale on site when we are open. No membership is required to shoot clays. The club is affiliated to the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) and holds a South Yorkshire Police exemption certificate.

Practical Shotgun

We have also obtained permission to introduce Practical Shotgun Shooting to our ground which we hope to get started again soon.

The Rifle Range

The shooting range is National Small Bore Rifle Association (NSRA) Authorised and Home Office Approved, its open to members only for .22 rimfire rifle, air rifle and pistol shooting. Membership is a very affordable £100 per year with no extra range fees.

Corporate events and  Stag / Hen do’s

We run Corporate events and stag and Hen do’s and are happy to give a quote for these events. Give us a call on 07460 184 581 and have a chat. We also run taster sessions and are happy to give 1 to 1 coaching sessions.

Gun Shop

We also have a shop at Attercliffe,    selling all kinds of guns and accessories and are happy to give advice on gun fit etc just ring 01142 788 210, open 10 til 5 Mon to Fri and 10 til 1 on Saturdays.
